  A few years ago I would have told you that luxury travel was about the property. The view, the pool, the finishes. I've changed my mind. The best stays I've been part of, the ones guests still mention years later, usually have very little to do with the house itself. They have to do with how little the guest had to think about anything for the length of their stay. That sounds like a small distinction. It isn't. What people are actually escaping Most people arriving at one of our properties aren't just tired from the flight or the drive. They're tired from months of being reachable.
